This was my latest project. It was cancelled when the business owner became ill and had to cease operations. I’d written the initial stylesheet and prepared 27 pages.

This project is on hiatus. This isn’t the final design of either the site or the logo. I have created all of the graphics and written the CSS and XHTML.
A company posting on the Craig’s list called for designers to show their stuff in order to land a gig—no portfolios because portfolios can be faked. So I took the challenge and designed this piece. Read the details of this misadventure in Mother Lode of Pyrite?.
The first phase of the Intercultural Society of the Central Okanagan website is now complete. I wrote all of the CSS, XHTML, PHP and Javascript, as well as designing it, including image editing and optimization. However, I didn’t design the logo or take any of the site’s photos.
Besides web design, I created all of the original graphics and made some of the photographs, wrote all of the CSS, XHTML, PHP and Javascript, edited copy and styled the blog. I also provided most of the print design for this client. Another designer is now maintaining the site.
The 2005 site is no longer live. I designed the website, wrote Actionscript, Javascript, CSS and XHTML, created original art in Photoshop & Illustrator. I also designed all of the board’s print materials, using InDesign & Illustrator.
I designed this website for a class assignment, using XHTML, CSS and Actionscript, and then introduced myself to the band by saying, “hi, my name is Gord Grisenthwaite. I stole your website.” The band likes it, but have opted to keep their original website.
Campbell River Women's Centre, Kwagiulth Museum & Cultural Centre, Campbell River Kiwanis Club and the Child Abuse Information Warehouse (an award winning site) are also sites I've designed and coded. They’re no longer live.
